I really appreciate what you have shared about your locomotive roster. I am relatively new to the hobby, and acquired an Athearn Cotton Belt GP60, with the specific intention of weathering and patching UP. However, I have never done any weathering or patching before. In the end, my Favorite kind of Diesel locomotives are the Cowl Units. From the EMD F45 & FP45 to the GMD SD40-2F, the SD50F, the SD60F, and others.

Man, I love your layout so much I have a 15 x 20 layout in my basement I’ve taken so much inspiration from your layout, except for my layout is modeled from Charlotte North Carolina through Salisbury and goes up to Asheville. I haul intermodal containers for Hub Group, I see and wait for trains every night, tired of seeing them lol Here I am on UA-cam watching videos of trains, model trains at that. Awesome attention to detail, the trains, layout and the video recording.
